Balfour Beatty Rail, Inc. entered a $56.3 million contract for systems on-call
services with the Regional Transportation District (RTD). The contract
is composed of several individual work orders. Each is treated as a
separate option that RTD may exercise at its discretion during the
course of the project. The scope of work includes communications,
signal, overhead catenary, traction power substations, fare collection
and system-wide electrical. The base contract is three years in
duration with two additional one-year options.
