As part of a joint venture, Balfour Beatty Rail, Inc. was responsible for upgrades to the signal and communication systems and track rehabilitation at Burlingame Station, as well as track rehabilitation at Broadway Station on the Caltrain commuter rail system in California. Work included the installation of signal racks, house, equipment, wiring, and communication platform devices such as public address speakers, visual message signs as well as the installation of turnouts and reconstruction of track.
