Grade Crossings Signal Project

Balfour Beatty Rail, Inc. was contracted to remove all existing
equipment and provide the design and installation for 20 crossings.
Included in the scope was the installation of all new cable, gates with
LED lighting, cantilevers, CWT train detection, along with pre-emption
circuitry of traffic signals. These crossings were designed to enable
passenger trains to service the new stations being constructed along
the line. Balfour Beatty Rail worked with other contractors to complete
the project well within the anticipated project completion date and, as
a result, was awarded an additional 15 crossings.
