Indiana Railroad Rail Replacement

Balfour Beatty Rail was contracted to install 37 track miles of
continuously welded rail. The project scope also included 450 thermite
welds; and cut, slide and flash-butt welding of 9,700 lineal feet of 115 RE
and 136 RE rail. The team surfaced and aligned five track miles, including
turnouts; installed four each #10 RBMI main line turnouts; and rehabilitated
seven county road and private at-grade crossings.
